Pilot Scheme
On 10 April, the Department for Education and Skills and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister/Department for Transport ran pilot schemes to help speed up the honours nomination process.
The current process takes between 12 and 18 months from when the Ceremonial Secretariat receive a completed nomination form to a nomination being successful and appearing on an honours list.
